How can I get an Imprints child development specialist at my doctor's office?
Imprints is available to contract with obstetrics and gynecological offices, pediatricians, family practitioners and area hospitals to provide parent education and family support services. or call 722-6296 x205 to learn more.

What are some typical service requests from clients at doctor's offices?
Doctors and patients request services most often when there is a concern about the child's development.

Highly qualified and trained Imprints staff members provide screenings for children aged two months to five years using the Ages & Stages, Denver II, DIAL-IV or AGS screening tools. A child development specialist will discuss the results with parents in detail after the screening, and through follow-up visits can work with families to suggest practical everyday activities and strategies to enhance language development, intellectual growth, social-emotional development and motor skills. Imprints can also help parents connect to early intervention resources when needed.

Additional requests for services concern discipline issues, lactation support and new parent questions.
