Imprints for Expectant Families
Imprints for Expectant Families (formerly ABCD Motherhood Connection) offers intensive education and support to pregnant women receiving prenatal care at the Downtown Health Plaza of Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. A skilled educator provides prenatal classes, monthly home visits after delivery, monthly consultation, breast feeding support, and referrals. Education, support and home visits are also offered to the fathers helping them to become more involved, and more committed with the family. Classes and services are offered in English and Spanish. Special services for teen mothers help them work toward staying in school and having a healthy baby.

We use the March of Dimes Comenzando Bien and Pregnancy Workshop curriculum, the Smart Start Loving Choices After Delivery and Beyond, and Parents and Teachers curriculum.
